67th MD301 Philippines State Convention: Baguio City
Baguio City in Northern Luzon hosted the 67th Multiple Distrcit 301 Philippines State Convention, drawing thousands of visitors to the country’s Summer Capital. The hub of activities was the CAP Convention Center in Camp John Hay, where the plenary sessions, seminars, exhibits, bazaar, sub-district elections, and proclamation night were held.
The Grand Parade brought together Lions from all over Multiple District 301 Philippines. Due to Baguio’s cool climate, the Lions barely broke a sweat walking the distance from Baguio Convention Center to the Melvin Jones Grandstand in Burnham Park.
The convention theme was “Dignity Through Service,” sharing the essentials of then-International President Jitsuhiro Yamada’s theme of “Dignity. Harmony. Humanity.”
