99th LCI Convention: Fukuoka, Japan
Lions Clubs International held its 99th annual international convention in the great city of Fukuoka in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
The Convention brought over 38,000 Lions Clubs members, including 13,000 delegates and guests from 120 countries and geographical regions to Fukuoka City.
The center of Convention activities was at the Fukuoka Marine Messe, where LCI’s various exhibits and seminars were held. The Yahuoku! Dome hosted the plenary sessions and international show. Lions from different backgrounds participated in the colorful Parade of Nations, which started at Hakata-za, passing through Meiji-dori Street and finishing at Chu-koen.
